Social Media Coordinator

We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator for a permanent, full time role with a hybrid work model combining days working from our Mornington office and from home.

The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the management of client social media channels. This involves the complete process from strategy and ideation, through to content creation, management and reporting.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Daily social media management for a range of clients and industries, including brief creation, content creation & curation, short-form content writing, community management and reporting
  • Research and identify relevant social media and content trends for client brands
  • Social client account management, including regular communication through email/phone and face to face meetings
  • Conceptualise and produce engaging and educational content for social media (inc. creating assets from custom designed Canva templates)
  • Liaison with internal project stakeholders, including other designers, content creators, copywriters, and managers
  • Assist with the development of social media strategies and campaigns
  • Measure the success of content and campaigns
  • Support with influencer marketing and management
  • Support with content creation and production
  • Support with integrated digital communication activities, including optimisation, analysing data and reporting

Skills & Experience

  • A relevant degree or qualification in Marketing, Communications or a similar vertical
  • An sound technical understanding of social media platforms (inc. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok)
  • A passion for social media and creative trends
  • Conceptual and creative thinking
  • Ability to write creative short- and long-form copy and social media captions
  • Thrive on working collaboratively within a team environment, as well as autonomously
  • Great attention to detail, organisation and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast paced and ever-changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Must have the ability to multitask and be prepared to switch priorities/tasks when something timely or urgent arises

Desired Attributes

  • Experience working within a MAC environment required
  • Experience with a social media management tools required (SKED advantageous)
  • Experience with Canva and other content creation platforms required
  • Experience working within Google Workspace advantageous
