When a website needs to house a large amount of information clarity isn’t just important, it’s essential.

A cluttered, confusing site leads to frustrated users and missed opportunities. That’s where user experience (UX) design makes all the difference.

For Peninsula Leisure and @parcfrankston, we took a strategic approach to user experience design, creating a seamless digital journey that minimises friction and enhances accessibility for all users.

We focused on three key areas:

📁 Streamlined Navigation – We decluttered the site structure, reducing unnecessary pages and simplifying the user flow. By focusing on intuitive pathways, we made it easier for visitors to reach their destination in fewer clicks.

🗒️ Enhanced Information Architecture – With so many services and facilities to communicate, we organised content in a way that felt natural and easy to digest. Instead of overwhelming users with endless menus, we introduced tabs, sub-navigation and modals to break down information into manageable sections.

🎨 Convenient Design – Whether someone is booking a fitness class, checking opening hours or planning a family swim, they can access the right information without hunting for it. Every interaction was designed with efficiency and clarity in mind, ensuring a frustration-free experience.

The new website is a visually engaging, highly functional website that supports an intuitive customer journey.

Here it is 🤩 Your ultimate guide to the new IG grid layout!

Gone are the classic 1:1 squares, making way for a taller 4:5 aspect ratio.

So, what does this mean for your content?

✔️ New post size: 1080 x 1350px (4:5). Taller posts with trimmed sides.
✔️ Old square posts: Use ‘Fit to Grid’ in image settings to adjust them neatly.
✔️ Reels & covers: 1080 x 1920px (9:16). Same size, but covers now appear taller in your grid.

While this new layout gives us more vertical space to showcase our content, the downfall is that the trimmed sides no longer allow for a seamless grid. So those of you that loved to get creative and make your posts flow in the grid view, it`s time to rethink your strategy.

Is the luxury brand scarcity strategy sustainable? ⏱️

I recently accompanied my friend to his appointment with a Rolex boutique. This personal experience highlighted the difference between perceived scarcity of a luxury brand and the reality behind its allocation process. While the scarcity strategy is built to control Rolex’s reputation, I found the experience misleading and even disingenuous.

This lead me to take a deep dive into this popular strategy and how luxury brands must balance exclusivity with transparency to maintain loyalty and relevance.
