The brief

Fetch’d is a startup tech company on a mission to make pet safety smarter. Their easy-to-use digital ID and location service helps reunite lost or injured pets with their owners and local vets quickly, securely and with minimal stress. Having previously worked with the team on another brand project, Fetch’d approached Oraco to develop a brand and digital presence that captured their mix of tech innovation and playful personality. Our role spanned from brand strategy and naming to visual identity, packaging, website, app UX/UI and launch content.

Branding & packaging

The Fetch’d brand was designed to blend fun and reassurance, pairing the heart of pet ownership with the precision of smart technology. We began by creating a distinctive name that reflects the brand’s purpose and stands out in the pet-tech space. The visual identity followed suit with a vibrant colour palette, playful typography and catchy taglines that spark curiosity and connection. Every design element was considered to evoke a sense of adventure and optimism, from the packaging to the microcopy. The result is a tech brand that feels approachable, energetic and undeniably pet-loving.

Website & app

To bring Fetch’d’s identity to life, we em’bark’ed on a digital experience that combines personality with performance. The UX/UI design focused on simplicity and delight. Bold graphics, clean layouts and quirky animations make navigation feel intuitive and fun, while maintaining the sophistication expected from a modern tech startup. We built the website to deliver impact from first click, greeting visitors with colour, movement and story. A clear ‘how it works’ flow and animated explainer video guide users through the product, ensuring every interaction reinforces Fetch’d’s credibility and charm. Both the website and app are designed to do more than inform. They invite pet owners into a like-minded community, giving every furry friend their very own digital pawsport.

Content & communications

Consistency was key in building recognition and trust. We developed a content strategy aligned with Fetch’d’s playful editorial style balancing humour with education. Oraco produced social templates, Reels and a branded ‘how-to’ animation video that walks users through setup and use. From scriptwriting to animation, every detail was crafted to feel on-brand, friendly and reassuring. The tone of voice became Fetch’d’s secret ingredient, strategically punny, warm and approachable, helping to turn a stressful situation into one met with calm confidence.

The impact

In a cluttered industry, Fetch’d stood out by embracing what others overlooked. Fun, trust and genuine empathy. The refreshed brand and digital presence have significantly strengthened engagement and awareness. User growth was up 2,271.13% (2.3k new users) from July-December 2023 vs. 97 new users in the first half of the year. Community sentiment had a noticeable increase in positive engagement and brand advocacy across social and digital channels. Fetch’d is now recognised as a brand that gives pet owners peace of mind, proof that the best tech brands are built not just on innovation, but on heart.
