The brief

Fetch’d is a startup tech company whose mission is to provide an easy-to-use, effective smart pet identification and location service that helps reunite lost or injured pets to owners and vets. Having worked with the Fetch’d team before on another branding project, they engaged Oraco to build the brand’s strategy, as well as visual and editorial style. They required support with the build and design of their sales website, product packaging and user interface and experience design.

Branding & packaging

The Fetch’d brand is a seamless blend of fun and quirk with a cutting-edge tech startup vibe. We created a vibrant and harmonious colour palette with playful fonts and catchy slogans. Every detail was carefully curated to evoke a sense of adventure and innovation. The brand is an experience, an invitation to join a like-minded community of pet lovers giving their furry friends their very own digital pawsport. We continued the playful themes within the copy, as we knew it was paramount to create a tone of voice that aligned with the visual branding. We developed a tone that utilised strategically placed puns whilst still being friendly and educational.

Website & app

To bring the Fetch’d brand identity to life, we em’bark’ed on a digital journey where creativity meets functionality. The website and app welcomes visitors with a burst of colour and energy, instantly captivating their attention. A balance of bold graphics and clean, modern layouts maintains the brand’s playful yet tech-savvy aesthetic. Quirky animations and interactive elements enhance the user experience, adding an extra layer of engagement. Storytelling took center stage on the website, with a captivating narrative showcasing the brand’s personality and product in action through an animated video and step-by-step ‘how it works’ guide. The website and app both reinforce the brand’s identity as a forward-thinking tech startup with a fun-loving spirit.

Content

Maintaining brand recognition through their visual and editorial styles, we created strategic content to support their marketing and sales initiatives, including social media tile templates, Reels and a ‘how-to’ animation video. This ‘how-to’ video consisted of animation design and script copywriting to ensure the video was on-brand.

Results

We developed a brand focused on fun and reassurance in what is a significantly cluttered industry. Despite the stress involved with losing a pet, we wanted to ensure pet owners trusted the brand and felt more at ease when using the Fetch’d solution. Fetch’d has seen an increase of 2,271.13% (2.3k new users) from July to December 2023, compared to 97 new users from January to June 2023.
