Digital Marketing Coordinator

Oraco is a branding and communications agency based on the Mornington Peninsula with a varied portfolio of international and Australian clients. We are seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator for a permanent, full time role, working on-site at our Mornington office.

The position requires experience within paid and organic social media, content management, influencer marketing, email and inbound marketing, as well as the Google Marketing and Google Developers Platforms.

Role & Responsibilities 

  • Regular client communication through email/phone and face-to-face meetings.
  • Liaison with internal project stakeholders, including designers, copywriters, directors, managers, etc.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and other team members to develop a detailed scope of work documents and timelines, to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • A strong understanding of organic social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
  • Support the Social Media team with the management of social media retainer work as well as the Campaign Manager to develop strategic social media campaigns.
  • Support with selecting and engaging influencers to support client campaigns.
  • Support with general website maintenance, including updating copy and imagery, adding blogs, and maintaining eCommerce sites, etc.
  • Support in ensuring websites are up to date in line with SEO, accessibility, and usability optimisation.
  • Work with the internal team to develop strategic email marketing campaigns.
  • Email marketing optimisation to increase performance.
  • Support with the creation and optimisation of workflows on platforms such as HubSpot.
  • Support the development of social and digital communication strategies.
  • Support and liaise with external partners across SEO, SEM and generation of inbound traffic.
  • Practical experience with running paid social media advertising across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Apply pixels and tracking codes to websites, as well as track metrics relating to website performance and loading speeds.

Skills & Experience 

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar marketing role
  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent knowledge of paid social media
  • Experience with applying pixels and tracking codes, as well as setting up and managing Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
  • Experience within organic social media management and content creation.
  • Experience in email and inbound marketing platforms such as HubSpot, MailChimp, Active Campaign, Drip, etc.
  • The ability to approach digital comms with a strategic and integrated focus.
  • A passion for digital communications and integrated marketing.
  • A keen eye for detail and consistency.
  • Critical thinking, strong time management, and exceptional analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Thrive on working collaboratively within a team environment, as well as autonomously.
  • Fluency in the Microsoft Office suite, in particular; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to influence key leaders across the business as well as clients.
  • Experience working within a MAC environment required

Desired Attributes

  • Experience in content management systems such as WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, etc.
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices.
